iPhone Wont Save WiFi Password
Annoyed by having to enter your password every time you unlock your iPhone and try to use the internet? I was until this morning.
I recently put a password on our wireless internet at home and connected my iPhone to the wifi by putting my password in.
It soon became incredibly annoying to have to enter the password every time I unlocked it, so I figured there must be a way for it to remember the password - and there is...
Basically, because I had connected to the wifi with the iPhone before it had a password, it was saved into my phone without a password. All I had to do was 'forget' the connection, then connect to it again. It then asked for the password and now remembers it each time!
To forget the connection, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Click on Wi-Fi
- Click on the little blue arrow to the right of your connection
- Click Forget this Network
You may also run into issues if your home internet has the same name as another connection, such as your work one. Simply rename one of the connections by updating it in the router and then you should be all good to go.
